Tire Rotation

Tire rotation is an important service that allows tires to maintain their lifespan. Tires play a large role in the driving capabilities of your vehicle as well as safety. As specified in the owner’s manual of your vehicle, you will find what the recommended time for a tire rotation is for your car. The weight differentiates itself from the rear and front axles. Therefore, rotating the tires allow for an even distribution of wear on the tread to allow the tires to last longer and perform better. Maintaining an adequate tire tread will assure a better grip, shorter stopping distance, and longer service.

What is Tire Rotation?

Tire rotation is the procedure of moving the tires of a vehicle from one position to another to ensure even tire wear.

When should I rotate my tires?

Approximately every six month or 6,000 miles is when you should schedule your tire rotation. However, in your vehicles owner manual, you will find how often is best for your specific vehicle. If possible, it may be convenient to get your tires rotated while getting an oil change.

Here at Larson we want you to have happy tires that will provide many happier miles. While your tires are being rotated, we would be happy to check air pressure, rebalanced, and check any damage to tread depth if applicable.
